ACS Regional Meetings
Visit the Career Resource Center at any ACS regional meeting for a variety of professional development programs and services. Features include an employment clearing house (RECH), career management workshops, and a collection of career management publications.

The Regional Employment Clearing House (RECH) brings together employers and chemical professionals seeking employment. Each day, employers interview prospective candidates from a pool of area talent while job seekers benefit from the opportunity to explore job openings. Forms from off-site employers and job seekers will be accepted.

Career Management workshops are conducted in one-hour sessions and address the major components of job hunting: employment trends, resume writing, networking, and interviewing. These programs are designed for all chemical professionals – graduate students, younger and experienced chemists. One-on-one resume reviews are also available.

The Career Resource Center in conjunction with the Employment Clearing House will be held at all 2001 ACS regional meetings. Employers and job seekers, please note the deadline to submit materials for each RECH. Everyone attending th6e regional meeting should also complete ACS meeting registration. Information about specific meetings is scheduled to print in Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN) on the following dates.
